She is Light and Beauty
Formed from Danakali dust at dawn.
Sensuality made visible—
A world she chose, both alone and awake.

She searches for a new spring,
A new song forming in the hush of morning.
After much dreaming, she awakens—
Dreaming still of something new,
Of someone to see her
As she is, and as she will be.

A whisper takes form,
Perfect in sound and mind.
She is seen—
And yet unseen.

Drawn by what she knows,
Blinded by what she cannot yet see,
She follows the scent
Of her lush forest—
Frankincense, jasmine, eucalyptus.

She rises, a bronze goddess:
Fierce, knowing, revered.
She stands in her light

And says,

“Here I am.
Love me.”
